From organizing neighborhood gatherings, seasonal events, and community-wide celebrations to managing updates through newsletters, emails, and the website, this committee fosters connection and engagement among residents. Whether it’s a summer picnic, holiday celebration, or informative update, their efforts ensure residents stay informed, involved, and welcomed. Below are only some of the members of the Social & Communications Committee who help bring Stonebridge residents together through events, celebrations, and community updates. We have many other volunteers who help during the events to actually make them happen. Their efforts foster connection, engagement, and a welcoming spirit throughout our neighborhood. If you’d like to get involved in planning activities or sharing updates, we encourage your participation.
It was great to get outdoors this year and have some fun in the neighborhood!   Here’s a summary of what we did:
- Our Community Garage Sale was held Friday-Saturday, June 6-7. Approximately 90 maps were taken at the entrances so we estimate about twice that number came through. We had 26 registered homes (homes on map at entrances) and several unregistered participating.
- The Spring Festival was held on Saturday June 14th. The Steve Rich Trio provided music for about 170 neighbors. Everyone enjoyed sub sandwiches, drinks and snacks while the kids were busy at the craft table and inflatable bouncy house/slide.
- Halloween at the Beach was on Friday, Oct 24th with cloudy weather in the 50s. The event saw scores of costumed families and lots of excited kids and families. There were treats bags, food and drinks, games, crafts and a bounce house/slide that was the entertainment destination for kids and adults all evening.
- Tennis and pickle ball court online scheduling was available for the May-October season and had significant usage.
- Holiday decorations for the Stonebridge entrances were up for the holidays.
